I BIRD NY CHALLENGE!

Use your observation skills and join the annual Challenge by identifying any ten bird species of your choosing in New York State. Participants who successfully complete this fun challenge will be awarded a commemorative patch, can download a completion certificate, and be entered into a drawing for great birding prizes!

School Mental Health Resource's for Parents!

The Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. (MHANYS) is committed to supporting the mental health and wellness of youth and families with resources and information, including those available through the School Mental Health Resource & Training Center (Resource Center). The Resource Center was established to help schools implement a NYS law requiring mental health instruction as part of the K-12 curriculum.

Summer Meals for kids finder

USDA works closely with states to ensure that children who receive free or reduced-price school meals can get the nutrition they need when schools are closed for summer break. Through USDA’s summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country serve meals and snacks to kids 18 and younger at no cost. Families can use the Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information.

YMCA Camp Onyahsa

The camp has about 200 wooded acres of natural woodlands that provide adventure and scenic beauty for every camper to explore in our summer overnight and day camps, and our off-season monthly weekend camps.

Our year-round facilities include heated lodges, a winterized dining hall, a recreation center, a fitness room, sports fields, nature areas, cabins, tents, arts & crafts Stuga, a “Forever Young Playground,” and a beautiful waterfront.

Since 1898 YMCA Camp Onyahsa has had a strong history of serving families by providing children and youth the opportunity to experience camp life, develop essential life skills, and make lifelong friendships.
